Den här härliga knoppen av Gul näckros (Nuphar lutea) såg jag i sjön Hjälmaren.
Jag fick lägga mig på mage på bryggan för att komma riktigt nära.
Om några dagar är dom i full blom.

De er så nydelige de nøkkerosene, tror det er det vi kaller dem her til lands. Det er mest av de hvite vannliljene her jeg bor, så jeg savner litt disse gule! Nydelige bilder!

You learn something everyday from blogging. I didn't know water lilies grew in cold countries. A great sequence of shots seeing the flower open and what a striking colour.
